Mary Becquet
Vice President APAC and Operations
Mary joined Patersons in May 2009 as Group Head of Consulting. Prior to this Mary was at Sony Pictures for 7 years, where she held roles as a Vice President in IT Finance, SAP implementation, Sarbanes-Oxley Compliance, and most recently in Corporate Finance. As VP Corporate Finance for International Projects, Mary supported a number of global efforts to optimize Sony’s financial systems and processes.
Prior to Sony, Mary worked in Los Angeles in the Entertainment industry for 10 years, beginning as an auditor for Price Waterhouse on clients as diverse as Disney, the LA Philharmonic, and the Sands Casino. Mary left public accounting for the entertainment industry where she focused on corporate finance and technology to support the industry. Mary worked for several entertainment companies including E! Entertainment Television, Warner Bros. Studios and Fandango (online movie ticketing site).
Mary has a BA in Chinese language and literature from the University of Massachusetts. After graduation Mary lived in Xi’an, China where she taught English and spoke a lot of Mandarin Chinese. Returning to the US, she earned an MBA with a focus in Accounting from the University of Texas and obtained her Certified Public Accountant License from the State of California.
